How do I set up Caller ID alerts on BTC TV?

- Select My Services in the main menu, and press OK.
- Press the down arrow to select Preferences.
- Press OK, and OK again.

Alerts & Presence lets you activate or deactivate service for Telephone by selecting “Telephony”.
- Press OK to activate/deactivate the service.
*Customer must subscribe to a Caller ID package, i.e. - the Selective Talk or Flexible Talk package in order to receive Caller ID Alerts.


How do I set up Parental Controls?

The Manager User can control user viewing in several ways.
- Starting at the Main menu, go to My Services, Account, and Manage Users.
- Select the user account you wish to control, and press OK.
- Select Locks and press OK.

Lock out a user for a specified time
Choose the lockout period: Complete the From, Duration and Daily fields by pressing OK to scroll through the options. With the fields set, select OK and press OK. (To unlock, repeat this step but select Remove and press OK.)

Lock a user out of a program
Select Channel Locks and press OK. Select the program to lock and press OK. With Lock selected, press OK. (To unlock, repeat these steps, but select Unlock.) The Channel Guide will identify the program as locked.

Lock a user out of a channel
Select Channel Locks and press OK. Select any program in the channel line. Press OK. Select Lock Channel and press OK. (To unlock, repeat these steps, but select Unlock.) The Channel Guide will identify the channel as locked.

Lock a user out of the TV service
Select Lock Now and press OK. This user name will be blocked from logging in. (To unblock the user, return to this screen, select Unlock Now, and press OK.)


How do I find the Help Guide on my TV?

The Help Guide is displayed by pressing the Green/Tools button on your remote. Use the PgUp and PgDown buttons to scroll the page.


How do I change channels?

Enter a channel number to tune to the desired channel. As you enter numbers, the channel starting with the numbers pressed is displayed immediately. Use the CH+, CH- buttons to scroll through channels. You may return to the previously viewed channel by pressing the LAST CH button.


How do I navigate through the guide?

Navigate among on-screen items by using the arrow buttons and pressing the OK button to access the selected item. To return to the previous screen, press the Blue/Exit button.


How can I quickly scroll the guide?

Use the PgUp and PgDown buttons to scroll menus up or down by a full ‘page’.

You may use the same buttons to view long texts.

Menus also scroll by one item at a time using the up/down arrows.

Use the PgBack or PgFwd button to scroll pages left or right, where applicable (e.g. to shift hours in channel guide, to shift days in daily program).


How do I use the Channel Guide?

By selecting a program and pressing OK you may tune to the desired channel. Pressing the red button will give you more information on the selected program and allow you to add the current channel as a Favorite or to schedule a future program to ‘Autotune’.


How do I enter values in forms and fields?

To enter a value in an input field, navigate to the field and press the desired numbers. Use the keyboard in case characters are needed.

Use PgBack to erase a digit in an input field. When finished, press OK to submit.


What do the Quick Buttons do?

INFO (red): displays current program information. If used while in program guide will access Autotune and Favorites.

TOOLS (green): displays Help

GUIDE (yellow): pressing once displays your favorite channels if any are designated. Pressing twice displays the entire channel guide.

EXIT (blue): displays the previous page or exits menu

HOME or REFRESH: hides all overlays and reloads the main page

MENU: displays the main menu

ON/OFF: stops/reconnects video stream


How do I view On-Demand movies and recorded programs?

When viewing a Video On-Demand movie or a recorded program, the following video control buttons are available: Pause, Play, Rewind and FastForward.

Movies are divided into 10 equal-duration segments. These segments can be accessed directly by pressing numbers 0 to 9.You may also press the Menu button to display a progress bar to select the desired part. To hide the menu, use the Exit button located next to the number 3 on your remote.

To stop the movie and return to the main screen, press the Blue/Exit button.
