Executive Profiles
M. Lynn Pike is President and Chief Executive Officer of BTC Broadband. With more than 37 years telecom experience, Pike offers a comprehensive industry background, including serving as President/CEO of Warwick Valley Telephone (New York). At Warwick, he managed the successful launch of TV quality video (the first company to do so in New York and New Jersey.) Pike also previously held the position of Vice President/COO for Geneseo Communications (Illinois) and was Managing Director for United Telecom Investments (Hungary).
Pike serves as board member to both the Daily Family YMCA and the Bixby Community Outreach Center. He is also active in the Bixby Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club of Bixby.
He finds the community and BTC employees very open and welcoming. “I am really excited about bringing IPTV and other IP entertainment and communication products and services to the BTC Broadband markets.”
Robert Rozell is Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for BTC Broadband. Rozell is responsible for managing the accounting and financial operations of the company. He also has numerous regulatory responsibilities. He recently was honored by the Oklahoma Telephone Association by being inducted into its Hall of Fame, and also is a member of the Bixby Chamber of Commerce.
With more than 19 years experience in the telecom industry, Rozell’s background includes positions with Beacon Telecommunications Advisors and Panhandle Telephone Cooperative, where he contributed to the company’s substantial growth in revenues and customers. Rozell states, “I’m happy to be in Bixby! I have been made to feel extremely welcome by the community.”
Richard Hayer is Director of OSP Engineering & Operations for BTC Broadband. Hayer is responsible for Engineering, Construction and Installation/Repair. He contributes to company advancement by directing the engineering of broadband provisioning to all exchange area customers. Hayer actively volunteers for several community causes, including the Daily Family YMCA.
With over 38 years experience in the industry, Hayer served with Fremont Telecom (Idaho) and ConTel (Washington). At ConTel, he provided Senior Engineering & OSP Planning for 3 states. With each company, he directed the development of the area’s first fiber optic networks to outer lying counties and rural areas.
Hayer states, “Growth is at our doorstep and it’s related changes are happening rapidly. By providing cutting edge informational / communication technology, and doing it over broadband facilities, BTC Broadband and our employees have committed to provide our community with the tools necessary to manage these changes effectively.”
Scott Floyd is Director of Sales, Product Development & Customer Services for BTC Broadband. Floyd is responsible for managing sales, business and new product development, service delivery and customer services for the company. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Bixby Chamber of Commerce and is a graduate from the Leadership Bixby program.
Floyd has over 19 years experience in the competitive telecommunications, Internet and broadband business. Floyd states, “Most people think you have to be at one of the major regional bell operating companies to provide advanced communication products. They don’t know many of the smaller telephone companies are much more nimble and have the latest technology now. Here at BTC Broadband we can provide Fiber to the Home or Business, Digital TV, IP Telephony and some of the fastest High Speed Internet to our customers.”
Scott Lowry is Director of Central Office Operations for BTC Broadband. Scott is responsible for all switching and transmission technology in the network, including voice, Internet, and video services. He has significantly contributed to the development of BTC’s network, enabling the company to provide the best package of communications services in the region.
Scott has over 14 years industry experience with companies such as WilTel, WorldCom, MCI, and McLeod USA. Scott brings extensive Network Planning and IT management of local, national and international networks. Scott states, “BTC has a long history of connecting the residents of Bixby and helping each other to succeed. As Bixby and BTC grow, we will continue to deliver new ways of bringing Bixby residents together with each other and with other communities which help us all succeed.”
